Complexes

Complexes are combinations of several fabrics with or without a chopped strand mat fixed by a mesh system, preferably by a polyester thread. We offer customized solutions by individually combining different layers.

Coroplex

Coroplex is a sandwich construction in which one, two or more E or ECR glass reinforcement materials (e.g. chopped strand mat, woven roving, multiaxials, non-woven fabric) are mechanically bonded with a PP non-woven or PP knitted fabric. An almost unlimited number of combinations are possible.

In addition, Coroplex is particularly suitable for the pressing and injection process (RIM, RTM) due to its excellent resin absorption.



KN MA1M: for flat components, very fast resin flow, cutting stability

Multiaxials

Multiaxials consist of differently oriented thread layers that are fixed by a mesh system. These can be combined with nonwovens, chopped strand mats or other fabrics. An almost unlimited number of combinations of different individual layers are possible.



Properties

Layer construction:

Unidirectional in 0° or 90°

Bidirectional in 0° and 90°

Multiaxial in variable alignment of the individual layers at angles of preferably ±45° , 90°, 0°

in width up to 330 cm
